Wortknall

Privacy

Last updated 7 September 2026

Wortknall is a word game. It does not live off data, so it collects as little as it can. There is no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and nothing that goes on to anyone else. This page says exactly what is kept.

Without an account

You can play without signing in. Nothing about you is stored. The name you type in multiplayer lives only as long as the room does.

What signing in gives us

If you sign in with Google or Discord we receive exactly three things:

We do not ask for your email address. We never receive one, we never store one, and we therefore cannot send you anything. We never see your password: signing in happens at Google or Discord, not here.

What the game itself stores

Cookies

One cookie, and it only holds your session. It is HttpOnly, no script on the page can read it, and it follows you nowhere. There are no third party cookies.

Voice chat

Audio passes live through the server to the others in the room and is put down nowhere on the way. Nothing is recorded, nothing is stored, and when the room closes it is gone.

Where it lives

In a single database on our server in Indonesia. We sell none of it and hand none of it on.

Deletion

Write to us and your account is deleted along with everything attached to it. Not anonymised, removed.

Contact

Through Instagram, linked at the bottom of the home screen.

Wortknall is made by two people in their spare time. If what is written above changes, this page changes with it.
